About Dr. Phyllis

We figured it may be a good idea to give our readers some background information on ourselves. Okay here it goes. I'm a total night owl, gemini, high school celloist, shy, and self-proclaimed showtune junky. What can I say? I have the theater bug. I've been in many differnt plays and musicals appearing in a wide variety of roles ranging from chorus member to the title role. In fact I am currently in a production of "The Sound of Music" as the new postulent and I have a short solo at the beginning of the show.

I'm also a writer. Most of the time you can find me typeing on my laptop most likely working on a fiction novel that I have been working on over the past year. You'd think that with all the writing and reading I do I'd be a fanominal speller, but to tell you the truth I'm actually a terrible at spelling. It must be the dylexia.

My nickname Dr. Phyllis comes from the fact that I tend to ramble and over analyze certain things as you will find from my postings. I suppose this trait reminds people of a psychologist and so they it was only natural that they played off the name of the name of the well known psychologist Dr. Phill. Many people have told me I'd make a good psychologist. Who knows we'll have to wait and see.
